Christmas & Family Scrapbook Albums

Happy Friday everyone! Last weekend, Bella Blvd hosted a wonderful event called She Loves Color and I had the privilege of teaching 3 classes on how to create different mini albums. I made extra kits for 2 of those classes so I could offer them to my Artsy Albums family! 

First up, is my new holiday mini album called Clearly Christmas ...

 

I designed this with the adorable Doodlebug Design, Christmas Magic Collection (love!) and a 6x6 inch clear acrylic album. The transparent pages are so fun! You can see through the edges of the pages, giving you a sneak peek at what's on the next page.

This album has 10 pages (5 double-sided) with space for 9-10 special holiday photos. Perfect for moments like decorating the Christmas tree, baking holiday cookies, a Christmas party, a visit with Santa, and Christmas morning.

I love the sweet embellishments in this collection. Mr. & Mrs. Clause, the elves, reindeer, the ornaments, and all the sweet treats!

This would make such a unique handmade gift for someone this holiday season. And ... it also looks cute sitting out in your home year-after-year filled with your wonderful memories!

 

Next up, is my Our Happy Place Folio Album ...

This scrapbook is perfect for saving photos of your family, friends, everyday moments, professional family photos, or a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary, or Mother's Day.  

I designed it with a 6x8 inch Folio 2 album by PhotoPlay and the beautiful Carta Bella, Farmhouse Market Collection. It has soft colors and pretty pattern papers with flowers, plaid, gingham, and wood grain. I added an acrylic "family" title on the cover and a cute polka dot ribbon to tie the sides closed.

Inside this tri-fold folio, there are 10 scrapbook pages (5 double-sided), 4 pockets, 1 flippie, and space for at least 20 photos. The pockets hold 4x6 and 3x4 cards that you can add photos to or journal on. They're perfect for documenting your fun family moments.

Halloween Scrapbook Page Layout Kit

Hello scrappers! It's Friday and the day before Halloween which means ... it's time for some weekend fun! I've got just the thing for you. I had fun playing with Doodlebug's Ghost Town Collection and I'm totally loving the unconventional colors of these pages. We all love the traditional orange and black of Halloween but how fun is this aqua blue? The circles give you plenty of places to add adorable little pics and you can leave some blank so the fun papers show!

The sneak peek I'm giving you below is a really cute page with polka dots, spots for many pictures and a place to journal. Love the Mummy's cupcakes. This would be a cute page for making, sharing and enjoying some Halloween goodies!

Doodlebug created an adorable aqua blue paper covered in the most precious bow and flower wearing ghosts. Again, I'm loving the blue! Paired with the orange "trick or treat" title, I think it's super unique and absolutely precious! And when you see the rest of the page, you'll be excited to add your photos to this one! So cute.

Taking pictures of your little goblins and princesses as they excitedly walk (... more like run) from house to house make great action shots. They'll be so happy to show off their costume and take a piece (... more like grab a fistful) of candy from the bowl. One! Just ONE! 🙄

With such cute embellishments like costume wearing characters, little houses and stores, happy-faced clouds and suns and fun titles like "Boo-tiful" and "Creep It Real" ... how can you not love these pages?!

Halloween Scrapbook Ideas & Inspiration

Happy Throwback Thursday! This post is PACKED full of awesome Halloween projects I created once upon a time! 2019 - 

Halloween Carnival Album -  Last year, I created this mini scrapbook using Doodlebug's Candy Carnival Collection. Halloween Pop-Up Card - Another fun project I made was this great pop-up card using one of Lori Whitlock's cutting files. It makes such an impressive handmade card for someone that they may not believe you made it, lol!

2018 -  

Halloween Photo Crate - In 2018, I made this cute photo crate using Doodlebug's Pumpkin Party Collection. And yes, a lot of this collection is still available too! Yipeee!! I even checked on those adorable jelly clips - they're so cute I couldn't help myself. And they're still available! Oh, how I love Doodlebug!

This crate is filled with little file folders, photo cards and envelopes that you can tuck your photos into after Halloween. This makes really cute decor each year. To see all the pictures of this photo crate and get product links, go to my original post HERE. 

Simple Vintage Halloween Album - Next up, I have this cute 2018 mini. It has a very classic Halloween feel and was created with the Simple Stories, Simple Vintage Halloween Collection. I used a 4x6 binder and designed it with all the traditional colors and images of Halloween. Love this!

2017 - 

Halloween Booville Photo Box - This adorable box comes with a matching mini album tucked inside and was created using Doodlebug's Booville Collection. This photo box would be so cute sitting out each year or, it could make an awesome gift for a grandparent filled with pictures of the littles!

Wall Art Picture Frame with Washi Tape - In 2017, I created a wall art project using washi tape, a picture frame, mat and scrapbook paper. I used a 4x4 card as the center image but you could also use a great family photo or a picture of your kiddos in their costumes!

2016 -

Halloween Boos N Brews House Shaped Album - The next 2 projects are retired mini albums that are in the shape of haunted houses. I used Doodlebug collections on both so you know they're so cute! This 2016 version was created with Boos & Brews and has kind of a "mad" scientist feel. The instructions for this album can be purchased in my shop HERE so you can replicate it!

Halloween October 31st House Shaped Album - The 2015 version of the house shaped mini was created with Doodlebug's October 31st Collection. It's full of smiling ghosts, cats, owls, bright colors and interactive pages. The instructions for this album are also in my shop and can be purchased HERE.
