You & Me Scrapbook Album with Doodlebug French Kiss

Hello friends! Years ago, I started creating a series of mini albums for myself called "You and Me". They document the love story I've shared with my husband since high school. The first book goes back to the 80's. So today, I'm sharing a NEW little scrapbook kit I've made titled You and Me that was inspired by those albums and the beautiful Doodlebug Design, French Kiss Collection. It's bright, fun, and has adorable papers. It's a perfect gift idea for Valentine's Day.💕

I created the cover with white chipboard and it consists of 4 layers include smaller rectangles and the heart. I added the die cut of the two cuties on the bike, a few tiny heart sprinkles on the wheels (for extra cuteness), and the "You & Me" title which I created with my Silhouette software.

Aren't the colors in this collection so pretty? I love the pink, blue, and red combination. On the first page above, I added a gorgeous floral print and a pretty photo mat. 

Then if you'll notice, there's also an acetate page laying on top. You're looking at the backside with the plaid paper on the side, the scallop circle "Love You", and the white mat with the word bubble

Here's what it looks like on the front. I love the transparency and the cute hot air balloon card that says "you make my heart soar".

On this page, I added a cute polka dot, the die cut of the girl holding the balloon, and some petite prints in dot/stripe (bubblegum & blue jean). The petite prints go perfectly with every Doodlebug collection.

Wouldn't this mini album be perfect filled with photos of a fabulous trip to Paris? Oh, yes please! But ... that's not all. You could also add photos of you and your sweetie, family and friends that you love, a first date, an engagement, a cute Parisian wedding, or an anniversary.

And ... what a great album this would be for photos of Valentine's Day! Add pictures of a romantic evening, a special dinner, you and your partner all dressed up, or a weekend away!

Valentine Album with Simple Stories Kissing Booth

Hello friends! Recent family photos have been sitting on my desk just begging to be added to an album, and when I saw Simple Stories, Kissing Booth I didn't immediately think of these pictures. It's a beautiful Valentine collection, but my family photos were taken in the fall. Would it work? You bet! I'm thrilled with the way I was able to document family love and togetherness with these pretty papers!

I used a black 6x8 Snap album and incorporated black and white card stock in with the patterns. The die cuts are so pretty ... lots of flowers, hearts, and cute sayings that are perfect for Valentine's Day or general everyday family moments.

Even though I love the divided photo sleeves, I used more of the full 6x8 pages for this album. I enjoy creating full scrapbook pages, and with this size I don't have to commit to an entire 12x12 page.

In addition to bits & pieces die cuts, I also used chipboard, puffy stickers, and combo stickers throughout the album. And by the way, my granddaughter IS sweet, don't ya think? :)

I confess that the Feb. 14 chipboard doesn't match up with the photo I tucked into the pocket, but I loved the piece on this page.  I'll add Valentine photos of this little sweetie when I have some in a few weeks.

I designed this album with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories Sn@p binder in teal and the Echo Park, Happiness is Homemade Collection. It was designed by Lori Whitlock and has wonderful images of aprons, kitchen utensils, cakes, tea pots, cups, flowers, cupcakes, canisters, and lots of cute dots, stripes, and ginghams.

Inside, there are 16 pages (8 double-sided) that include 5 pockets, 5 flippies, a fold-out page, and space for at least 50+ photos. It uses 14 plastic divided pages for 4"x6" recipe cards or additional photos.

Want to pass down a few family favorites to your daughter, a new bride, or your granddaughter? This would be a keepsake she will cherish forever. Or a great gift for a wedding shower!
