For my project, I created some of Lori's adorable mini tea light houses for a winter apothecary jar scene. These are really fun to make and super easy!
For the houses, I used Doodlebug glitter card stock to cut out three different houses. They each cut out in two pieces, the house and the roof, and they fold up easily. I used a strong liquid adhesive to hold them together.
Once my houses were complete, I created a cute little winter scene with battery-powered LED tea-lights, salt (for the snow) and a few small trees I had from other village decor.
I plan to leave my winter jar out all season, and then I may cut the houses out in various colors for other seasons throughout the year!
Now, back to Lori's blog hop .... don't miss these awesome goodies too!
