Tis The Season Christmas Scrapbook Album
Hi everyone! It's time for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and this week, we were asked to create a handmade gift idea with the colorful Here Comes Santa Claus Collection. I love its cute Santa, his adorable reindeer, and the bright shades of red and green. So, I created a really fun mini album that would make a wonderful keepsake for family or friends this holiday season!
To make it, I cut two 8x8 inch covers out of white chipboard and added cardstock pages to the inside. On the front cover, I added some cute Odds & Ends die cut pieces, the title sticker from the This & That, an enamel candy cane shape sprinkle, chunky twine, and two silver glitter dots to the wheels of the truck.
Inside, I covered each of the white pages with 12x12 pattern paper, then added lots of fun embellishments and photo mats. I love the little red polka dot bird on this page!
Here I created a pocket page with pull-out cards that can be used as photo mats or journaling. As you can see, Santa has many modes of transportation. So, whether he's driving a green pick-up truck, the white mail truck above, a helicopter, or a scooter (yes, he has those too!) ... Santa is sure to get his gifts delivered!
I also love the pops of light blue and pink in the papers. My Christmas pictures will match no matter what color everyone is wearing! Check out the cute little snow globe. I fussy cut that from one of the 3x3 cards.
I tucked some 4x6 cards into this pocket page to use as photo mats but it can also be used to save memorabilia. You could add tickets, a Christmas list, a postcard, a program from a holiday show or church event, or a letter to Santa!
If you are interested in making this album, I've made a DIY kit that's available in my shop. It comes with simple, step-by-step instructions and it's so FUN!
Thanks for stopping by the blog and have a great day!

Magic of Christmas Scrapbook Album Kit
Hello everyone! Today, I have this beautiful Christmas scrapbook album available in my shop (DIY kit and pre-made). It makes such a wonderful keepsake for your family's holiday memories. This album would also make a great gift for Christmas, or a perfect hostess gift for a Christmas party.
I designed this with the beautiful Simple Stories, Classic Christmas Collection and the new 6x8 inch Sn@p Striped Holiday Binder. This album is packed with pretty holiday papers and embellishments. I love the saying on the cover ... "The magic of Christmas never ends and it's greatest gifts are family and friends".
Inside, there are 16 scrapbook pages (8 double-sided), 12 double-sided divided photo sleeves, and space for more than 80 photos.
Above, I created layered waterfall pages that are great for adding extra photo space to the page. I like the little card on the front ... Eat, Drink, & Be Merry. Some of the other pages say - Merry & Bright, It's Time for Mistletoe & Holly, and The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
I think pockets are a must in a mini album! They're great for saving journaling cards, extra photos, and memorabilia like holiday greeting cards, notes, tickets to an event, postcards, a letter to Santa, a favorite recipe, or a Christmas list.
I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies in my albums so your photos are safe and sound.
Hop over to my shop for this wonderful Magic of Christmas Scrapbook Album Kit today and thanks for visiting the blog!
