Favorite Family Recipes Scrapbook Album

Hey friends! Today, I'm sharing my newest addition to the shop ... a mini album kit titled Favorite Family Recipes. This scrapbook will keep your cards safe and organized and make a wonderful addition to your kitchen. It could also be an amazing handmade gift for your daughter, mom, a friend, or a bridal shower!

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this with the Carta Bella, Home Sweet Home Collection by Carina Gardner. There are aprons, kitchen utensils, baked goodies, strawberries, and a pretty mix of red, pink, aqua, and tan.

On the cover, I tied a big bow and added some cute metal kitchen utensil charms. I also included a few tags, some buttons, and twine.

Inside, there are 12 scrapbook pages that include 2 flippies, 2 pocket pages, and space for at least 20 photos. I've also added 12 clear divided page protectors for storing 48 of your own 4x6 recipe cards!

This project makes a wonderful keepsake for memories of your family's traditional holiday meals and favorite recipes. The Thanksgiving turkey, the fish on Christmas eve, or the corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day ... photograph your family traditions and save those wonderful memories in this fabulous recipe album.

Want to pass down a few family favorites to your daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, or a new bride? Give them to her in this handmade keepsake that she will cherish forever.

If your recipes are disorganized and floating around in a box, put them in a wonderful book that makes searching for a family favorite easy and more enjoyable! Hop over to my shop and get your Favorite Family Recipes Album Kit today. 😊

Update: This kit has sold out but the instructions are available in my shop. They are simple, step-by-step, and include full color photos of each page. Links for the instructions and the products used are below. Happy scrappin'!

Doodlebug Calendar with Daily Doodles

Today's project:  2016 Daily Doodles Calendar
Created For:  Doodlebug Designs

Hi friends!  I'm super excited about a new project that I have posted over at Doodlebug Designs today.   It uses a brand NEW Doodlebug product AND lots of fun collections from throughout 2015.  Do you have some left over Doodlebug scraps or, do you wish you had a reason to use some of this year's adorable collections?  If so, I have a perfect project for you :)

When Doodlebug recently introduced Daily Doodles I was thrilled!  I'm a calendar girl.  I love documenting birthdays, holidays, fun family events, etc. so a calendar is a really fun project for me.

With Daily Doodles, and lots of this year's Doodlebug collection scraps, I was able to create a really fun calendar for 2016.

I kept the scrapbook pages VERY simple, and plan to focus on filling in the fun calendar next year.  Seriously ... how fun will this be with stickers, journaling, and adding dates and events, and little 2x2 pictures!!  I can't wait!  Here are a few pictures of my starting point:

There is a scrapbook page for each month (note: after the year is over I will slide these pages into a 12x12 scrapbook album!) and a Daily Doodles calendar page for each month ....

How fun is this!!  I can't wait until 2016 so I can start filling it in!  I'm going to add family and friend photos to birthday squares, cute Doodlebug stickers on major events (like the Santa on Dec 25 above) and lots of adorable embellishments "just because" ...

Hope you have fun with Daily Doodles too and either use up your scraps OR use this as an excuse to go get all of those Doodlebug collections from earlier this year!!

Happy Scrapping!

Dec. 25th Christmas Scrapbook Album Kit

Our 2015 Christmas album is here!!
www.artsyalbums.shop

This beautiful Christmas scrapbook album is available as a DIY kit or pre-made and will be a wonderful keepsake for your family's memories! This album would also make a great gift for Christmas, or a perfect hostess gift for a Christmas party!

This year our album kit is bigger and better than ever! We used the new Simple Stories Holiday Sn@p binder and the beautiful Claus and Co. paper collection. The chipboard binder album is approximately 6x8 with 2" binding rings. The album includes 14 full 6x8 scrapbook pages (7 double-sided) and 13 double-sided divided photo sleeves, for a total of 40 pages. The album will hold more than 68 photos.

I always create my albums so that photos can easily tuck under embellishments, and I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies. The title on the cover says "Dec 25" and some of the other pages say "Peace & Joy", "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree", "Meet Me Under the Mistletoe" and "Hello Santa".

Lori Whitlock October Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to Lori Whitlock's October Blog Hop. If you just hopped on at my blog, be sure to head back over to Lori's site for more great ideas. The Creative Team has lots of fun projects to share with you and you won't want to miss them!

For my project, I created Lori's new 5x5 Leaves Gatefold Card with a sweet matching gift box (links for both below). And to make them, I used Lori's fall paper collection from Echo Park called "The Story of Fall".

I used Lori's Happy Fall phrase (link below) to create a 'print & cut' for the inside. I LOVE the design!

Update: Since "The Story of Fall" collection is older & has been discontinued, I've added some similar product links below as a substitute. Happy Scrapping!

December Daily Style Album with Doodlebug

Hey friends! According to Ali Edwards, the creator of the original December Daily project, the album is created to document the 25 days leading up to Christmas.  "The simple goal", according to Ali, "is to capture the spirit of December via one story per day".

I've seen many versions of this fun project on blogs and Pinterest, but I decided to create my Doodlebug Design album with a bit of a twist ... pockets! This way, each day has a page for photos and a pocket for other items -- lists, recipes, receipts, tickets, notes, additional photos, etc.

I love all the patterns and colors in the new Doodlebug Sugarplums collection. Mixing and matching the papers on the 25 pockets/pages made for a colorful, fun album!  I combined 12x12 and 6x6 papers, lots of embellishments, brand new Doodlebug Chunky Twine, and a Simple Stories Sn@p album.
